Our courtyard was in a Mess. Some plants were badly damaged n torn apart as well. Later I did get the plants re potted by the gardener, which turned out to be equally messy n time consuming. Phew! These Monkeys can be such big trouble makers some times!
Radhika, that must've been so annoying! I know exactly how you must've felt. I face this every winter when the Jungle Crows invade my garden and pull out all the orchids from their pots. They even chase the dogs and tweak their tail!
Oh dear - I know how you felt. I spent hours (well it seemed like it) the other day planting daffodil bulbs. Next morning I got up to find the squirrels had dug them all up again for me ... Found you on Blotanical - I hope you'll enjoy being there.
Sunita, believe me it sure was quite annoying, getting back home in the eve to find the courtyard in a mess with plants which needed immediate attn n re potting. Gosh! it must be a task to ward of these Jungle crows visitin ur garden!
U r rt....Its disheartening to see all you days hard work go down the drain in a jiffy. Moreover ...u can't do anything abt it except mebbe compalin a bit, voice your concern, before getting down to work... all over again :):)
Hi Radhika, you have a very nice blog! I consider Bonsai making to be a hobby which requires a lot of perseverance and patience, but the end result is immensely satisfying! And that shows in your bonsais too:-) I too am trying my hand in bonsai making since last 2-3 years but with no formal training, I'm facing a lot of difficulties, I hope to learn a lot from you in future! Monkeys have created a lot of mess in your garden, but these are the sort of hardships all garden lovers have to face in some way or other. Take Care
I agree...Bonsai as a hobby requires a lot of perseverance n patience. I am a member of a bonsai Grp n have been learning the nitty gritty of the art form from Our Guru Santosh Arora (President ABA @ Avadh Bonsai Association) since the last 5 odd yrs. I will be more than happy to share and pass my observations n learnings on the subject here on my blog.
The courtyard is back to lookin Normal now after a thorough cleaning up n re potting job. Gracia's...Radhika
I'm sorry to see what those monkeys have done to your place. For me it is the cats who love to come to my garden to deposit their droppings and I have to do all the dirty work of cleaning up.
Monkeys can be very destructive. They pass through my garden from time to time. Right now they are picking my passion fruits biting them and the throwing them down. A few months ago one came into the house and was trapped in my laundry room. He finally got out but it was scary for me. One rule I have been told to always obey....never throw an object at a monkey. Their aim is better than ours! Love your blog!

Repotting can be such a mess. That's why I've always wished to have space for a potting bench. Perhaps some day.
It's a mess but still your blog looks wonderful. Spirit of blogging is appreciated. keep on posting...!
