But again, in spite of it all, who’s complaining??????
Winter is rather a special time of the year, when the Yellow Mustard makes an appearance, adding a hint of YELLOW to the surrounding Green’s in our Kitchen Garden at home.

Well……While I am out on a Veggie Trail today, let me virtually share photos of some of the veggies that we grow. Apart from the SARSON (Mustard) we also produce Fenugreek (Methi), Spinach, Cauliflowers, Cabbages, Brinjal, Tomatoes, Lady Fingers, Carrots, Radish, Green Onions, Tomatoes, Chili’s, Cucumber, Coriander, Mint, Maize et al…depending on the seasons, for home consumption.

As of now, some of the beds have been cleared and tilled. They will be kept vacant for the next few days, while the land gets to breathe and replenish itself with some add-on dose of home brewed organic manure.

Any garden waste is not thrown away; rather it’s collected in one big heap and left to decompose over a period of time, only to be recycled and reused as Organic Manure in the Garden later.

We intend planting some Cauliflowers n Cabbages n Fenugreek (Methi), Spinach, Carrots, Radish n.. ..n... n.. maybe some more Sarson ' Mustard' all over again.

Moreover, this wk was rather special, as India celebrated its 60th REPUBLIC DAY with the Indian TRICOLOUR fluttering in all its glory. Thought I should add some TRI-COLOUR’s to my photograph here as well, to commemorate the occasion.
