Wow, that is a truly amazing sunflower and you captured the detail of it just perfectly. Not easy to do at all. I also like your second shot and treatment of it, something different and it works so well.
@ Bananaz....Ditto..sunflowers always appear to be smiling n shining just like the sun. Guess they just have a 'Cheerful' disposition.

I've been buying lots of mangoes lately, and I'm finally learning that they are best eaten before getting too ripe. that way I avoid the course strings that are there when totally ripened. this post has edified me as to the beauty and nature of this marvelous fruit. I've never seen the actual tree, nor a grove or blossom. thank you very much for sharing this. I shall return for more.
