Skywatch @ Friday!

Here are some interesting Sightings for Friday Sky watching!
Even on a gloomy grey day, sighting a butterfly just.... MAKES YOUR DAY!
Spotted this peahen perched on our roof for the first n last time...
a day after my great grand mother passed away @ July 2008
Another day, Another time....
These wild monkeys are a regular feature around the house....
n marauding the garden / plants, happens to be their favorite past time.
Spotted a few LANGURs on a clear blue sky day, during one of  my trips to the countryside!
Others were non nonchalant, while one of them looked ready to pounce...any moment. Scary!

Have an Interesting Day ahead...n Happy Sky Watching!

Those monkeys are also scary, i only found monkeys roaming in public places in India mostly, and a few in Cambodia forest near Angkor temples. I think i haven't seen langurs, but they are more beautiful than monkeys.

The rise is the urbanization of monkeys could be a real treat nowadays. Wow peahen on top of the roof top is not a common scene. Are they able to fly? Nice shots.

@ Bananaz...Hardly a treat....The monkeys are a notorious, destructive bunch & create a ruckus almost everyday ard the house/garden.

Yes, the peahen do fly, covering short distances one at a time. The peacock is much prettier of the two.

Thx a ton for stopping by.
