Regal

Regal in Red n Gold.....

From this weekend's Coleus n Chrysanthemum Flower Show @ NBRI, Lucknow

Did you know....
Chrysanthemums  are "photoperiodic"?

i.e., They bloom in response to the shorter days and longer nights experienced (in the Northern Hemispere) in fall......

It is a truly regal mum indeed. One of my favorite plants too. I did not know they were photoperiodic. Makes sense to me.

I think it most neat you have maples painted on your walls. Creativity and sharing nature inside is a wonderful way to live.

Yep. I read about mums being photoperiodic. I've been trying to induce flowering by putting my plant in a shed to lengthen the night time. It hasn't worked yet.
