Just the sort of cheery photos I needed today, to compensate for all the snow we have here. I'm warmer now, thank you!

You mean that peacock is wild? Oh how beautiful, if it is here someone will get it as pet and will not release it anymore! haha. And your cellphone must be top of the line as the resolution is so clear, lovely.

@ Bananaz ~ Yeh, Peacock on the road….They are a regular feature in this part of the city because of the greenery around. Though it’s the first time I have got this close to one. Have spotted them dance on a no of occasions during the rainy season. They make a delightful picture!

@ Jodi ~ I am so glad these pictures cheered you up!

@ Andrea ~ Yes, a wild peacock. Infact, while out on my usual walk, I have been spotting a whole lot of young ones too these days strutting behind the peahens. The males are much prettier looking. Guess it was a lucky day when I could click a picture of this one up close.... Made my Day!

Wow, your pictures are very clear. The poppy is splendid with so many intricate details visible. A wild peacock? I only get to see peacocks at the zoo and wildlife sanctuaries. Oh, do capture more as I'd love to see the little ones too :>)

What a great surprise to see a peacock crossing the street. We did have a little family of a peacock, a couple of peahens and little chicks around here about a year ago now, and they would often stop the traffic as they crossed the road. They had been a feature of a Farm which was open to the public, but when this place closed the animals started to roam.

The flower is beautiful... So is the peacock. There are many of them near my home, but seeing a peacock on the sidewalk is a first for me :) It looks stunning.

Thank you for visiting and becoming my blog friend.
Love your poppy picture, a very lovely colour.
Peacocks don't cross my walks but red foxes visit our garden quite often.
Greetings from Canada,
Gisela.

Oh! The peacock caught my attention. It's beautiful! I had a bad experience with one before. :)

Gosh! I hope it was not something major. One just learns from little bad experiences in life.
