Floral Smileys

While I patiently wait for the Calendula’s, Marigold’s, Hollyhocks, Sweet asylum’s, Cineraria, Sweet peas, Ageratums, Poppy’s, Salvia’s, Dahlia’s, n more such…winter seasonal flowers to blossom, these cheer-y monkey-faced Viola / Pansies have been popping and blooming in our garden since the last one week or so, providing me with many a ‘SAY CHEESE’ moment to capture and share here in my blog this week.

Now, check this out…..

The moment, I SAY ‘CHEESE’ to my Viola Floral Smiley’s……Here’s what happens…..JJJJJ…….

I receive SMILES GALORE!

They are just gorgeous. The colors are so bright and cheerful. The antique colors are wonderful on some of them.

Hi Hocking Hills Gardener...

I concur the antique colours do look wonderful. Thx for appreciating. These are so huge that I had to hold them upright with my hands to get a decent shot. Glad you found them Gorgeous.

Each bloom with it's own unique smile! Some are upside down or sideways ... mine when eyeing your beautiful photos is wide and deep. What lovely variety and markings. Such sweet faces of spring you share with us today... sorry I am so late in commenting. I enjoyed my visit very much! ;>) Carol

How lucky that you are greeted by the smiling Pansies while waiting for all the beauties in your list to bloom.
I remember reading somewhere that Pansy word comes from 'pensive', which means thoughtful, but the expression on these flowers looks more like carefree and happy, and yours in particular look happier:-))))

Pansies have always been among my favorite. They are an old-fashioned flower that bring memories of Grandmother and happy childhood days. It is interesting to see that you plant many of the same flowers I do. Here in the southeastern USA pansies can be planted now and will bloom probably till May when the hotter weather comes.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! The first one would be my favorite, but they all are gorgeous! In Russia, they are called Aniutiny Glazki (Aniuta's Eyes. Aniuta is a girl's name). Thank you! You made me smile!
